PRO: The Dallas Cowboys signed Chauncey Washington to the active roster off their practice squad Oct. 3 to give the
club depth at running back and on special teams with injuries to Marion Barber and Felix Jones. Washington spent his
2008 rookie season with the Jacksonville Jaguars along with and has familiarity with Dallas' special teams after working
under Cowboys special teams coordinator Joe DeCamillis last year when the two were in Jacksonville.

2009 (Jacksonville):

2008 (Jacksonville):
Appeared in six games, mainly on special teams and finished with three special teams tackles.
On offense, rushed four times for nine yards.
Led team in the preseason with 38 rushes for 115 yards and 12 receptions for 75 yards.
Was inactive for first three games of the regular season.
Made his NFL debut against Houston (9/28) and recorded one special teams tackle.
Saw his first action at running back at Houston (12/1) and had one reception for nine yards.
Recorded first career rush against Green Bay (12/14) which went for six yards and added one special teams tackle.

Led team in rushing as a junior in 2006 with 744 yards on 157 carries with nine touchdowns while appearing in all 13

Did not play in 2004-05 after being ruled academically ineligible.

Attended South High School in Torrance, Calif., and earned 2002 Super Prep All-America, Prep Star All-America, Tom
Lemming All-America and Super Prep All-Farwest honors as a senior running back.
As a senior, rushed for 1,549 yards on 140 carries (11.1 avg.) with 23 touchdowns and caught 13 passes for 200 yards
(15.4 avg.) with two touchdowns despite missing five games with a knee injury.
Also competed on the school's soccer and track (with a best of 10.5 in the 100 meters) teams.
Active participant of 2008 Jaguars Rookie Club.
Became involved with Southside Middle School football team in 2008, attending games and practices.
Teamed up with Lift Up America and Tyson Foods to distribute food to more than 50 area soup kitchens and food
